The MCSPCA has the largest and most effective Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) program in the State of New Jersey which addresses the feral/community cat issue. Last year, the MCSPCA TNR’ed over 2,700 cats within the county in partnership with 18 municipalities that financially contributed to the program. The program has made a significant impact on the overpopulation of feral/community cats.
We’re working to improve our TNR program every day with partnerships to better the lives of outdoor cats and slowly and humanely reduce the population.
We currently have TNR Contracts with the following muncipalities. Feral cats are able to be trapped, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and released back. If you have questions about this process, please email [email protected]
