Rocky is about 3 years old now. He looks like a Terrier mix, which means he is very handsome. Rocky came from a less-than-ideal background – he was found, abandoned, in a crate in the woods. Rocky can be a little shy at first, but he is very sweet, for sure! Rocky gives lots of kisses and loves to cuddle.
Rocky is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is cat-friendly, but he can also be very happy in a house by himself, where he can get lots of special attention. Rocky loves to play, but he needs some time making new friends because he’s still nervous around strangers. Rocky simply adores his humans and loves to follow them around the house and relax on the couch each night. While small in stature, Rocky can be highly spirited, so should not be in a family with small children, but a little bit of exercise each day means he’ll be in a calm, snuggly mood every evening. His foster parents say he puts himself to bed at 8 PM every night! Rocky is a very silly boy.
Rocky is housetrained and enjoys relaxing in his crate when his foster parents go to work. He likes to go for walks, play fetch, and most of all play tug-of-war! Belly rubs are his favorite. Rocky is great on car rides and very respectful while out in the world. Rocky knows lots of commands, and hopes his forever family will continue his training so he can be his best self!
Come meet Rocky!
