Ms. Jackson

ByNina | In Adoptable Cats

My story: Hi, friends. I’m a very, very sweet girl but I’m very stressed right now. I’m having a difficult time adjusting to life at the shelter. It is unfamiliar and noisy and, even though it’s a wonderful animal shelter, it is a very scary place to me. The shelter folks have been wonderful to me and have made me feel much more comfortable but I’m still very scared and overwhelmed here. There is nothing I want more than to be back in a quiet loving home.

I am 7 years young. I had to come to the MCSPCA because my owner became homeless. She went into a shelter for humans and I came to one for animals. I miss my previous owner very much but I know she had no other option and I take comfort in knowing she is safe and sound just like me. I know it would make her very happy to know that I have found another family that will love me and spoil me forever.

Although I am timid and fearful initially, once I’ve gotten to know you, I’m an absolute sweetheart who loves to be petted and brushed. I just need a little time to settle in and become comfortable with you. Will you give me a chance to show you my true personality? I promise I won’t disappoint!
