This is just one of the heartbreaking images circulating showing the devastation in Texas. Here at the MCSPCA, we are doing everything we can to help animals get out out of Texas to get them somewhere safe. We’ve again coordinated with Wings of RescueThe Humane Society of the United States and St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center to execute a rescue effort. Tonight, upwards of 100 animals will be flying in to Morristown and be divided among shelters in the tri-state area. The Monmouth County SPCA will take a portion of the dogs to our Eatontown location where they will be vetted and placed up for adoption within the next few weeks.

We are currently asking for donations of towels, sheets, toys and treats for these incoming dogs to keep them happy and comfortable after their long and scary journey.
