This is the horoscope you’ve all been waiting for. Meet Gemini the darling and charming Pit Mix. At a year old, she has that youthful energy and the ability to be a 52lb social butterfly. Though a little hesitant at first, she can adapt with calmness to soon become your bouncy best friend. Gemini is great at communication as she’ll bark at anything barking at her, and a family who understands her body language will always be a plus. Cute and curious, she’ll find her way to a toy and play with any squeal, crinkle, or pop. With the sun, moon, and planets all aligned- we know her forever family is out there waiting.

We only do adoptions in person (please bring all family members).

We will ask you to fill out an Adoption Survey and speak with an Adoption Counselor to help find your perfect match!

We are open to the public for walk-ins! If you are interested in adopting a dog, please be aware that our adoption floor is not open to walk through as we have found stress-levels, fear and anxiety of our dogs have decreased by limiting foot traffic. This results in a calmer living environment and a huge reduction of stress related behaviors. We have found that happier, less stressed dogs, ultimately lead to more successful adoptions too! Anyone who visits our shelter can view photos, bios, and videos of our available dogs and speak with an adoption counselor to meet any dog in one of our “meet and greet” rooms or our fenced in park. The cat floor is open to walk through.

You can save time and fill out a survey online, they are also available at the shelter. Completing a survey does not secure any animal for adoption. You do not need to submit a survey to visit, nor do you need to receive a response to a survey to visit. The survey is NOT an application that needs approval.

Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment, so finding the right match is very important.

Finding the perfect pet takes time. The process usually takes at least an hour, so please plan accordingly. All adoption paperwork must be submitted to the front desk one hour before closing.

Adopters are encouraged to bring their own carrier or leash and collar.

Adoption Fees

Dogs

Dogs 7 years and older: $125
Dogs over 6 months: $275
Puppies under 6 months: $600 (there is an additional $75 fee for Puppy 101 behavior class with a $50 reimbursement for optional continued training following Puppy 101)

Cat Adoption Fees

Cats 7 years and older: $75
Cats over 6 months: $175
Kittens under 6 months: $250

Mice, Hamsters, Rats $15
Guinea Pigs $30
Rabbits, Chinchillas, Ferrets $100

Payment

We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

We cannot accept checks for adoption fees.
