To call me lucky would be an understatement. When I arrived at the MCSPCA, no one thought I was going to make it. I was so emaciated and had such severe inflammation of the gums that I barely had an opening in my throat to swallow. I couldn’t eat, groom or sleep comfortably. I was in tremendous pain and my odds of living were very poor. But those types of situations never stop the folks at the MCSPCA!!!!! They sprung to action and wouldn’t give up until I was all better!!!!

Over the past 5 months, they lovingly tended to my every need. Since I couldn’t eat, I needed assisted feedings. Since I couldn’t groom myself, they did it for me. They gave me so much comfort and love-and the pain meds helped too lol!

Then, another amazing local animal related organization stepped up to help me! Feline Medical Center, a fantastic veterinary practice in Lincroft, offered to perform several dental treatments in order to heal the stomatitis (that painful severe gum inflammation). Sue Davis, a local physical therapist with Joycare Inc, gave me weekly cold laser therapy treatments to assist in the healing process.

These treatments continued for over 5 months. I can’t even begin to explain how ecstatic I am to now be feeling great!!!! I’m eating great, feeling great, grooming on my own and making lots of human and feline friends. My mouth is BEAUTIFUL and I’m eating like a champ. Really, all I need now is YOU!!!!
