ByNina | In Adoptable Cats, FIV+

Greetings, friend! Do you wish to be as relaxed looking as me? If you bring me home, I can help! I was found hanging out in a yard by a resident in Hazlet. After they took me in for a little while, they brought me to the shelter to find myself a home.

I am 10 years young, and one of the most laid back kitties you’ll meet. I might seem a little shy right now, but I love when someone new comes to say hi and pet me! I am looking for a very quiet home where I’ll get lots of love, some good spots to relax, and a little snuggle time with you.

I can’t tell you if I’ve lived with other cats before, but I could try living with one who is very friendly and mellow like me. I’d be happy being your only kitty as well. Either way, I’m ready to come home with you!

I am FIV+, which means that my immune system can be weaker than the average cat. This isn’t a problem as long as I am kept inside and up-to-date on vet visits and vaccinations. FIV+ kitties typically run into problems when they are left outdoors to fend for themselves. Lucky for me, I am done with my outdoor days!!!! FIV is only transmitted from cat-to-cat through reproduction and bite wounds. My FIV+ status doesn’t bother me one bit and I hope you don’t care either! I know you’ll love having me around for sure!!!
