Check out this Block-Buster of a man! I’m just over 1 1/2 years old and came to the MCSPCA with my three siblings from Jamaica! A Good Samaritan found us as strays in need of help, so we’re here to make a new life for ourselves.

I was sooo shy at first that I barely wanted anyone near me. I’m lucky my shelter friends gave me the love and patience to start coming out of my shell. I’ve come a long way, but there’s still no place like home! If I’m in a bed or under a blanket, let me give you a hand sniff, and it’s off to mushy town! I’d love to be petted tons, played with, and enjoy a few treats too. A low-key, adult environment will allow me to finally feel at ease.

One of my littermates tested positive for FeLV. Even though I tested negative for FeLV, I’m still considered exposed since I grew up with her. Out of an abundance of caution, I shouldn’t go to a home that already has other cats.

Come Bust-er me out of here and see what a special little guy I am!!

Things to Know

  • We only do adoptions in person
  • Please bring equipment needed for your new pet
  • You will fill out a survey and meet with a counselor
  • Most adoptions take an hour or so to complete
  • Adoption process must begin 1-hour before closing
We are open to the public for walk-ins! If you are interested in adopting a dog, please be aware that our adoption floor is not open to walk through as we have found stress-levels, fear and anxiety of our dogs have decreased by limiting foot traffic. This results in a calmer living environment and a huge reduction of stress related behaviors.  We have found that happier, less stressed dogs, ultimately lead to more successful adoptions too! Anyone who visits our shelter can view photos, bios, and videos of our available dogs and speak with an adoption counselor to meet any dog in one of our “meet and greet” rooms or our fenced in park. The cat floor is open to walk through.

You can save time and fill out a survey online, they are also available at the shelter. Completing a survey does not secure any animal for adoption. You do not need to submit a survey to visit, nor do you need to receive a response to a survey to visit (unless specifically noted on a post or bio). The survey is NOT an application that needs approval.
