Brutis is a 3 1/2 year old Hound mix who is in need a forever home.  He originally came from an overcrowded southern shelter in South Carolina.  He was adopted out and returned because he was a little too active for his new family.  About two weeks later he was then adopted and returned again after just one day –  once he got home they felt he was just too big for their small apartment.  He was then adopted and returned again after 2 weeks due to allergies of his human dad 🙁

Brutis does love other dogs, so if he has an playful canine sibling it may be a great match for this active boy.  He is a fun-loving guy who enjoys car rides and walks in the park.  He can be a little shy at times when first meeting people, but he is quite the lover boy once he gets to know you.  He will lean in to get some pets and give plenty of kisses in return.
Brutis has been lucky enough to have overnight visits with some of his volunteer friends who describe him as a playful joy to have around.  They said he will look to be a little mischievous at first, but as soon as he tires himself out he is a perfect gentlemen who will snuggle up for a nice long nap.  He is such a happy boy!!!  Now he just needs to find a home that will be his forever home!!!
Brutis has great fun on outings with his shelter friend, Taz. They love to swim!

Here I am, at the park with my friend Taz!
