At 43lbs, this pocket-sized Pit Mix may start off like a nervous nellie, but once she feels safe she’ll soon be showering you with all the kisses in the world. Beverly is happiest when she’s playing with toys, carrying them around like treasure. A patient family who can help her build her confidence and show her the world isn’t that scary is all she’s looking for. Things to Know
- We only do adoptions in person
- Please bring equipment needed for your new pet
- You will fill out a survey and meet with a counselor
- Most adoptions take an hour or so to complete
- Adoption process must begin 1-hour before closing
You can save time and fill out a survey online, they are also available at the shelter. Completing a survey does not secure any animal for adoption. You do not need to submit a survey to visit, nor do you need to receive a response to a survey to visit (unless specifically noted on a post or bio). The survey is NOT an application that needs approval.
Adoption Fees
Dogs
- Dogs 7 years and older: $125
- Dogs over 6 months: $275
- Puppies under 6 months: $600 (there is an additional $75 fee for Puppy 101 behavior class with a $50 reimbursement for optional continued training following Puppy 101)
Cat Adoption Fees
- Cats 7 years and older: $75
- Cats over 6 months: $175
- Kittens under 6 months: $250
Other Furry Creatures
- Mice, Hamsters, Rats $15
- Guinea Pigs $30
- Rabbits, Chinchillas, Ferrets $100
Payment
We cannot accept checks for adoption fees.
