Animal Rescue Camp is BACK!

Animal Rescue Campers will embark on an exciting week of discovery as they dive into the world of animal care and welfare! They’ll have the chance to interact with adorable furry friends, explore the shelter, and unleash their creativity through crafts and engaging games—all centered around the mission of animal advocacy.

By the end of the week, campers will be empowered and ready to share their newfound knowledge, proudly standing as true animal advocates!

Registration opens March 20th at 10am!

Enroll in a Full Day or Half Day Camp!  Camp sessions are organized by age group.

Full Day: $400/week

Half Day: $250/week

For Half Day Camps: 

Morning camp is 9am – 12pm for ages 6-9. 

Afternoon camp is 1pm – 4pm for ages 10-13.

Camp Weeks:

July 7-11 : Full Day (ages 6-9)

July 14-18 : Half Days 

July 21-25 : Full Day (ages 10-13)

August 4-8 : Half Days

August 11-15 : Full Day (ages 6-9)

August 18-22 : Half Days

August 25-29 : Full Day (ages 10-13)

What will we learn?

Get a behind-the-scenes tour of our shelter. Meet our animals and all of the people who care for them every day!

Learn how to help a baby bird or squirrel that you find in your yard.

Listen to a kitten’s heartbeat through a stethoscope and learn how a veterinarian technician saves lives!

Hear daring rescue stories of everything from dogs to deer to swans here in Monmouth County, from the men and women who saved them!

Learn dog behavior- just by looking. You’d be surprised what they are telling you… without words! We’ll also teach you how to train a dog to do simple commands.

Learn how to make enrichment for cats and pups.

Learn how kids can help animals every day!

Become a Counselor in Training!

Counselors in Training are teens aged 14-17 who will help the camp counselors throughout the week. This is a great opportunity for high school students interested in careers working with animals, education, and related professions.

FAQ

What does my child need to be prepared for camp?

Your camper should come every day dressed comfortably with closed toed shoes. Full day campers will need to bring a snack, lunch, and water bottle. Half day campers should bring a snack and a water bottle. 

What is the cancellation policy?

You must cancel 30 days prior to the firstday of your child’s camp week to recieve a full refund. A 50% refund will be given for any time after that. No refunds will be given for missing a day(s). 

Can I sign my child up for more than one week of camp?

Yes, but the activites kids will do in camp will repeat from week to week. 

Can I switch my child's camp week after they are registered?

No, after child is registered, camp sessions cannot be switched or changed. 

Do I need to provide my child's immunization records?

Yes, child’s immunization records must be either emailed to [email protected] or dropped off to 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724 prior to the camper’s first day
