Hi there, friends! I’m a sweet and gentle little 13-years-young lady looking for a loving home. I am front declawed. I was surrendered to the MCSPCA because my owner moved and couldn’t bring me with her. The other 2 cats I had lived with got to go with her, but I drew the short straw and ended up in the shelter. Oddly though, I’m a lot happier at the shelter than I was in that home! Most cats become very stressed when they find themselves in a shelter environment but not me! I feel like I’m on vacation! So I guess you could say I actually picked the purrfect straw!

For whatever reason, I was actually quite unhappy in my last home. Maybe it was living with other cats in close quarters, maybe it just wasn’t the right fit. At any rate, I was extremely anxious and my owner tried to improve my life by starting me on kitty Prozac. You’ve probably heard of people who get acid reflux from stress and it seems that it happened to me as well. So, my owner had me on an acid reducer as well. Well, I’m off all that now!!! And I’m happier than ever. I appreciate all my owner did for me but it turns out the best thing she could’ve done was to bring me to the shelter so I could find a new home!

In my ideal home, I would be free to nap all day. I would watch TV with you at night and then curl up at the end of your bed when it’s time to go to sleep. Based on my past, it would probably be best for me to live in a quiet adult home with no other pets. But who knows? Maybe I’ll be just fine with another quiet and calm feline-I’d certainly be willing to give it a try!
