Petey came to the MCSPCA as an owner surrender. A nice Freehold family had found Petey as a stray and wanted to keep him.  They had Petey in their home for about a month but, while they indicated he was fine with their 5 cats, he did not always get along with their other dog. So, they brought Petey to the shelter to find a new home.
Petey is a terrier mix who is estimated to be about 4 years of age.  He can be little timid when you first meet him but he warms up quickly. In fact, he can be quite the ladies man!  This handsome boy has made many new friends at the shelter. He enjoys snuggling with them and climbing into their laps…if he can fit, that is! 🙂

Petey loves to play and tennis balls are his absolute favorite. Petey walks well on leash and knows many commands like “sit”, “stay”, and “come.” Petey can even catch treats and balls in the air!  This boy is a true catch himself – whomever adopts this sweet boy is one lucky family!!!!
