Monmouth County SPCA the Results Are In! ASPCA Awards $100K Challenge Grants

For three months in 2011, the MCSPCA was one of 49 organizations across the country that participated in the ASPCA $100K Challenge.  The organization that saved the most lives over a three month period was awarded a $100,000 grant from the ASPCA; however, the real winners across the country were the 8,977 animals who were awarded their forever homes.

Hoarding Situation Brings 29 Puppies to the MCSPCA

This week our Humane Law Enforcement Division brought 2 whelping moms and a total of 29 puppies of a variety of ages, some as young as 3 weeks old, to the Monmouth County SPCA. They were taken from a hoarding situation in Spring Lake Heights, where more than 50 dogs were living in a small house with a very small yard. This case is being investigated by our Humane Law … more
