ByNina | In Adoptable Cats

Aren’t I adorable? I have salt-n-pepper fur and a cute little personality. I am about 6 years young and I came to the MCSPCA because my owner moved and couldn’t take me along. He had found me as a stray and was nice enough to take me in and give me a home for a 4 years. Unfortunately, his other cat (whom he had first) hated other cats and therefore was not happy I was there. My previous owner was able to facilitate both of us living under one roof for those 4 years by keeping us separated and scheduling our “out” time accordingly. When he moved into a smaller apartment, this arrangement was no longer possible, so unfortunately he couldn’t keep both of us. Since I get along with other cats (and the other cat did not), I came to the shelter.

I can be shy initially, but I’m very, very affectionate once I come out of my  shell. I LOVE cat treats (especially “Temptations”) and if you give me some, I’ll become your best friend very quickly. Once I’m comfortable with you, I LOVE to be petted and I purr and purr and purr. Since I can be timid, I would do best in a quiet and calm home without small children. I could live with another gentle kitty, or I could be your only purrincess. As long as I’m joining your family, I’m happy!!
