Honey is a 6-year-old sweetheart who was surrendered to the shelter when her owners had to move and could not take her with them.  She was with this family since she was a puppy and they indicated that she was always a great family pet. Honey appears to be some sort of a terrier mix, maybe mixed with a hound breed, as her lean body resembles that of a greyhound.  We are not sure what breed she really is but we sure do know that she’s adorable!

Honey can be a little shy when you first meet her but once she gets to know you, she will be your best friend forever!  She enjoys long walks with her favorite human friends and gets excited as soon as she sees them coming.  Honey also likes to sit and snuggle with her human friends and climb into their lap.  She is a sweet gentle girl who would thrive in a quiet environment.  Honey is very young at heart and likes to play – tennis balls and squeaky toys are her favorite!
