Dogs In Foster

Kallie

Hi! I’m Kallie. I am an 8-month-old girl who is looking for a family who can treat me like the Southern Belle I am! Transplanted from Virginia, I came to MCSPCA in search of a family to call my own. Since arriving in New Jersey, I have been learning to come out of my shell. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you I will be at your side all of the time.

I love other dogs and I hope to find a home where I can have some canine siblings – I’ll be a great little sister too!!!  I really love to run and play, and can often be found rolling around in the grass.
Right now I am staying with a nice foster family that includes adults, kids, and dogs!!! They taught me to walk nicely on leash, as well as new commands like “drop it”.  They say I am such a smart girl who would excel at some training classes!!  They also said I am doing great with my crate training and during the day they can leave me out without any accidents!!!  I can’t wait to see all of the new things my new family will teach me too!

I look like a Hound mix.

Recently, I spent a week at another foster home.  I did great!  Here’s what my foster mom had to say about me: “Kallie was really fun to have in our home.  She loves other dogs, and spent most of her day playing with them. She hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. After a day or two, she warmed up to us, and she enjoyed being petted. She likes to be close to her people! Kallie did great in the house – she wasn’t destructive and she only had one accident. She enjoys going for walks.  We think Kallie would be best in a home with another dog or two – she tends to follow the lead of other dogs. She was good when treats were handed out – she would sit and wait her turn. Kallie is welcome back any time!”

Kenzie

Hi! I’m Kenzie! I was found as a stray and I have had to overcame some hard times living on the streets. But I am still a sweet, friendly girl who is so glad to be in a safe place. I am starting to enjoy being a dog again, and I have not met a stuffed animal or other toy that I did not love playing with.

Everyone here calls me spunky, although I am entering my senior years. I am a little girl in size and it is pretty hard to figure what breed I look like, unless there is one called “adorable”..I really enjoy being with people no matter what we are doing, whether it’s playing fetch during the day or cuddling on the couch at night. I love to go for car rides, too! I’ve made some good human friends at the shelter already and I know that they will find a wonderful new home for me.

I can not wait to meet my new family and start our new life. I know that it will be filled with so much love and great times together.
