B.B. King

Handsome cat alert!!!! Hi, there! I’m a stunning Norwegian Forest Cat type of kitty cat. Maybe some Maine Coon too? Definitely something exotic and amazing-what do you think? I came to the Monmouth County SPCA after being found as a stray in Little Silver at an asphalt paving company worksite. I am extremely people-friendly, so I was definitely someone’s pet. Unfortunately, there were no matching lost cat reports, so my human friends think I was likely just dumped on the street by my previous owners. They probably just didn’t want me anymore. Sadly, that happens more often than you’d think. Luckily for me, the construction workers scooped me up and brought me to the shelter so I would be cared for and so could find my purrfect family.

My shelter friends think that, based on my purrsonality and energy level, I would make a good indoor-outdoor cat. I know where windows and doors are (and what they are for lol), I’m interested in the outdoor entertainment and I get kinda stir crazy being cooped up here. (Case in point, I sometimes get agitated and overstimulated after being petted for awhile and might give you a little nip to say “I’m done for now!”

I can’t tell you if I’ve been around other cats before, but I seem to be alright with the cats I’ve met at the shelter. I would certainly consider living with a feline friend or two. I absolutely definitely don’t have to have access to the outdoors though. I would be purrfectly content as your indoor boy too. If you do have a nice and safe green space, though, I would love to enjoy it!! My human friends think I’m about 1 1/2 years young.

So, what do you think? Want to add the most handsome cat ever to your family?
