How do you make dog tails wag & kitties purr?

In 2010 you helped the Monmouth County SPCA save 119 more lives than the year before. That’s 476 extra paws running though their new homes. Here are two pets who spent all of 2010 with us, but who are now happily in those forever homes.

Watch Daisy Blossom

Daisy’s owner passed away in September of 2009. As an 8 year old who never lived with other animals, she was lonely at the shelter but did not appreciate the company of other kitties. She spent her time in a cubbie waiting for a forever home until this December. Daisy won the hearts of a young couple whose cat, also named Daisy, had recently passed away. As they say, the rest is history!

A Happy New Year for Randy
On January 3rd, Randy, a dog who was with us for OVER a year went home!  Randy’s journey included overcoming abandonment and being hit by a car. There was not a dry eye as everyone said their goodbyes to this sweet boy. We are so proud of everyone, both staff and volunteers, who worked so hard with Randy.

These exciting happy endings are only possible with your help.

Please help us save even more lives in 2011.
