The Second Annual Run for the Animals raised approximately $5,000!

Robert Murphy, organized Run for the Animals to raise money for MCSPCA’s homeless pets. He combined his passion for running with his love of animals. His work got the MCSPCA on NBC’s LX New York.

The event took place on April 24 at Monmouth Battlefield State Park where 60 dogs competed in Doggie Dash races and 306 runners/walkers crossed the finish line of the 3K.  Prizes were given out for best dressed dog, friendliest dog and a 32 inch flat screen TV was raffled off.
